Hey all, I’ve got a problem with my SeaDoo HX, it starts right up, but when I try to accelerate rpms don’t pick up and it makes like a hollow noise. I have not cleaned or rebuilt the carbs yet, could that be the issue ? Where’s a good spot to start looking ? Here’s video of the issue...

I'd start with a compression test. Rent or borrow one. Ground the sparkplug boots, hold the throttle wide open crank it over until the gauge stops. You're ideally looking for 150-140.

If that checks out rebuild the carbs, genuine Mikuni kits only.

Also look at all the driver line couplers
