Hey there I’ve see some threads you replied to and saw that you had a 96 xp.
I also happen to have picked up one and it’s didn't start so I replaced the starter solenoid, battery, carbon seal, spark plugs, gas filter, grey fuel lines, cleaned the gas tank out, changed the dess post, fuel switch, cleaned carbs.
1. it’s start’s perfectly fine now but when I put it in water it doesn’t want to start properly.
2. when I click the start button it will stay on for about 10 sec then turn off unless I’m holding the throttle.
I feel like I’ve done everything and don’t know what to do now.
