Anybody know if any after market companies make a scan type tool for tapping into a seadoo like the dealer does?

MPEM Programmer?

If your talking about the mpem programmer, then yes. You can find them on ebay from around $1000 to about $3000. But you take a chance in getting one that doesn't have the correct password to operate it.
They seem to be tightly controlled since that is the only piece of equipment that a thief would need to start a racket of stealing most Seadoo's.

I talked to am ex seadoo dealer here and told me that programer is a top secret item to get. Even most repair shops that work on seadoo's can't get one. they are like gold. I have been searching for months now... no luck on legitimate ones, just the buyer be ware ones on e-bay.

My search led to the same dead end.
I got the stuff for Yamaha 4 strokes with very little hassle and it works great.
Was kinda hoping you guys knew a easy solution for Seadoo.

Like you, I was hoping to get this programmer so that I could do my own lanyard key programming and check the running hours on my engine. I found one on ebay for $1000 but became leary of buying one when I found out that you have to have the proper code to even turn it on.
I'd still like to have one, just don't see how to make it happen.

I got an idea, we all chip in and buy one and send it to who ever needs it at the time...I know it's a tough job, but I'll volunteer to hold on to it till it's needed by someone...
