I have a 2004 seadoo GTX. I was pulling out the battery and the rectangular nut came out. I can't find it anywhere. How do I get another one? Battery is YB30CL-B

Hi and welcome to the SeaDoo forum.

I would just go to a place that sells batteries, auto parts, motorcycle dealer, SeaDoo dealer, bet they got a bunch laying around, they'll probably just give you one. To keep from loosing one in the future just cut off a piece of tubing and wedge it between the nut and the battery.

Anyone ever try just regular 6mm nut? They measure 10mm (probably a bit less) across the flats and these "square" nuts are just under 9mm and the slot is just under 10mm. Worst case scenario you need to file a hair off two sides of the nuts. Readily available at your local Lowes in stainless steel. A five pack at Lowes is probably about $3-$4. Or for a 100 at Mcmaster will run you $8.73 for the 5mm thick ones plus shipping.
