Seadoo 4 stroke head identification

I have a original seadoo 4 stroke head Is there any way to identify what year and model of seadoo jet ski it came off
I was told they change the head design after 2007 is this correct

Look on the exhaust side under the ports.



This is off of a 2008.

I believe the design change was 2006+
