Seadoo 2009 RXT Suspension Bellows Removal

Keeping with my streak of never having bought a ski that actually works, I'm doing pretty good. They are all in need of repair because few people acually care for them by the book. After I removed the floating suspension for Supercharger removal and I inspected the Lateral Bellows PM 279000009. Both sides had holes in them so they need replacement. The suspension was working because I rode the ski but I'm sure it wasn't working correctly with the leaks. The video captures the process. I couldn't find anything on this process or any information and I did a good bit of searching. So...

Got it all cleaned up and the Bellows arrived early so I had to go out and see how the fit. The material seems to be the same as OEM, nothing cheap about it, holes line up, and I mounted one side just to play with it. I have 3/16 rivets that have a 1/2" lock length and they look pretty good for the fit. 3/4" is a little long. I mentioned this in my suspension video but I'll make this statement again because it makes the job easier. No need to block both sides of the footrest supports (aluminum pieces) beneath the floating deck. The mechanism is plenty rigid to work one side at a time and there is nothing in the way or be of concern while you are working on the unsupported side. That bar is "all beef" and it doesn't move when you block only one side.

Here is a picture of the bellows set in position. I'm going to read the manual before I do the install which will be tomorrow. I have the supercharger out and apart which is the reason I began this job in the first place.

In in the picture below.... NOTICE HOW THE SHAFT IS CENTERED IN THE BELLOWS WHILE BEING SUPPORTED FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE? Height doesn't need to be perfect you just don't want to load the rubber bellows by forcing it to support the shaft and lift bar. It will rest on the discharge hoses inside the cavity anyway but... blocking/supporting the foot rests is a good idea.
