I just received a wear ring from SBT. It is solid white. 1 Edge is smooth the other Edge has a rib embossed on it. There is also included a black foam ring. Question, which way does the ring go into the pump housing.,? I assume that the side with the embossed rib goes against the transom and into the foam ring. The foam ring has an adhesive side, which I assume sticks to the transom. Can anyone confirm or correct my assumption?
