What exactly are the beeps your getting? Are you sure the beeper isn't working but you can't hear it? Put you hand over it and feel for a vibration. Be sure the battery is fully charged and you wires are connected to a clean connection at the battery and the ground going to the starter area. Also it could be that the DESS post is dirty and not making communication to the mpem. Use soap and water to clean the post.

if ya get one long beep, they that means the key was not reconized
possibale bad lanyard or dess post or you grabbed a wrong key
try to get your old lanyard reprogrammed or try a new one
