I had a few dramas running on 1 cyl at idle but got that sorted in another thread, turned out to be a tini adjustment on the mechanical carb linkage.
I had to work Saturday morning so the ski came to work and straight to the river.
I finally got out to start the run in yesterday afternoon after work, EGTs worked great except for a minor hickup where one sensor probe popped out of its hole (I didnt want to over tighten the aluminium fitting or its pull the engine out for re-welding) nipped it up and all good.
Not bad for 'winter' here:thumbsup:
It was a little boring riding around at low rpm for 2 hours but all part of the master plan.
That thing loves to rev, tini blip on the throttle and it jumps to 6k rpm, i cant wait to be able to pin it and hang on!!
Ill get some GoPro 1st person view next time I go out, the EGT gauge is really easy to read but a bit hard to see the backlight colour (blue/red) in the sun. Given that, ill change it to Fahrenheit as 1000degF is easier as a quick visual than 538degC
