RXT-X won't go over 55 mph - Supercharger ??

2009 RXT-X ....just purchased...wasn't running right...replaced the coils & injectors...no codes idles fine ...accelerates good.... just doesn't want to go over 55mph....Digital tach not working....Supercharger ?? Prop ?? wear ring ? where do I start. I don't know the hours or if the supercharger was ever rebuilt.

Yes happened to me Supercharger Blown. Cost me $1800 . After repair the baby clock at 70 MPH

You need to know what RPM it is running at when its going 55mph, you need to fix the tach first or it could be an expensive few guesses before you figure it out.

Too much oil? Must be lower than full level on SC engine. Also change the spark plugs. SC engines are hard on spark plugs.
