RXT gauge pod installed

My single gauge pod came in yesterday from PWCMUSCLE. I had a chance to install it today and here it is. Not too impressed with the quality of this pod at all. Fit is poor at best and comes without any instructions on how to install it. I attached it to my factory glove box door with double sised tape AFTER I cut up my door to make room for the gauge. There was not enough room in the pod for the gauge to fit in and sit flush. Anyway here it is................

After spending almost $90 on this pod shipped to my door, installing it, and having to deal with it not fitting very well, I can't bring myself to recommend this to anyone. This of course has nothing to do with PWCMUSCLE as they do not make this product.

The guage couldn't distract me from how good your ride sounds. I agree with suke. What mods did you go with to achieve that exhuast characteristic?

I've seen the boost gauges installed in one of the mirrors..looks okay. My favorite spot though is in the middle of the handle bar pad.

Tapped the one by the runner feeding cyl #1. Just removed the bracket holding the wiring harness and tried the hot nail trick since my drill was too big to fit inside the hull at that angle.

Glove box is still functional. The door doesn't move as easily as it did and closing it I have to make sure the pod doesn't get hung up and keep it from closing. I'm sure the box isn't as watertight as it was before but whatever. I like the way it looks from a couple of feet back. Once you get up close you notice the poor fit of the pod. Other than that its all good.

I like that too but it was more work than I wanted to do and you can't really go back from that. Not that this is any different but at least I can buy a new glove box door and you'd never be able to tell.

That's true. I was under the impression that with this pod I didn't need to modify anything to make it work. I was wrong lol.

This particular video was all iPhone 5. Usually I use my GoPro Hero 3.
