RXT 260 RS Display doesnt work

Hi together. Sry if there is already a post about this problem!

I have a Seadoo RXT 260 Rs and got a new Display. So its normally plug & play but I plugged it in and it doesnt work. The display only starts working if I turn on the engine at first and then plug in the display. Otherwise there is no reaction of the new display. Has anyone a goof idea what the problem could be?

What do you mean by turn on the engine at first? Be a bit more precise on the procedures with the start button.

When the engine is running and I plug in the display while its running the display works. Someone told me it has to be synchronisised.
