rxt 260 hose connection

I have a 2012 RXT 260 with quick connect hose hookup.i bought it used and it has no cap on it and no one way valve,cooling water can go out this fitting.should I cap it off while not in use of hose washout??

I believe you are referring to the FLUSH fitting. If so, then you do nothing with it. Water is designed to exit this port under normal operation while out on the water cruising around...
