The Rpm's are going crazy on my 1999 seadoo gsx lt.

The first day I rode it, it was flasless.
The second day I rode it in a different lake (a lake with a lot more lakeweed) and almost immediatley it would struggle to get over 3k rpms.

-Once it hit 3k rpms it would shoot up and back down giving me a burst of speed (doing this over and over again).
-Eventually After I hit 3k rpm's it would just shut off.

I can't visibly see anything stuck in the jet pump, but that was my first guess of something that might be wrong.

Does it have the gray Tempo fuel lines? If so... the carbs are gummed up. Clean them out, and replace all the fuel lines.

I looked on line and couldn't find any resources, were exactly are the fuel lines? I see some oil lines that are black and spray painted grey. They feel rubbery and new.

Are there any pics where I can see where they are?
Thanks!

I think I do have the grey lines, here is the best pic I could get from the front of the ski.

I guess I need to replace them and clean the carbs?

They look like the original lines except for the clamps, the original clamps were crimped on, it's possible that they have been upgraded to newer. The newer marine fuel lines are also grey. The only way to tell for sure is to see if the word "Tempo" is printed on the fuel lines.

Yes, The current lines have this written on them:
Tempo SAE j1527

So im assuming I need to clean the carbs and replace lines.

Now the hard part, figuring out how to dissasemble everything with destroying it. A video tutorial would be great right about now!

Thanks for all the help!
