Rotex 4-TEC communication protocol

I have to write program that controls Rotex 4-TEC engine. Somebody knows the engine intergface protocol ( it's CAN BUS )?

The utility program for the 4-TEC engine already exists. It's called the B.U.D.S (bombardier utility diagnostic software) program and uses the VCK (vehicle communication kit) as the interface between computer and engine. :cheers:

I dont get what your trying to do? can you be more specific?

I have to write program that can start/stop engine, set a RPM value and get feedbacks ( like current RPM). Can I get any interface?

what are you trying to do bypass the dess key? if so you cant

The interface is availiable already from seadoo direct...You need to be a certified, authorized seadoo dealer to get the proper software and computer interface. It can't be hacked....so I'm told, but keep us posted on how you do. I'd love a copy.
