Have 1 of boss" 07 gti 130's leaking coolant from the rear of plate-
Seems to have taken an impact by the damaged intake grate. What does it take to swap these out? Do you have to pull engine to
Reach fittings , or is it doable fairly quickly?

I don't think you need to remove the engine to remove the ride plate, but not too familiar with your particular ski. Most of the ride plates are glued to the hull with really strong stuff, you need to use a bottle jack to slowly peel it off the hull.

Since it was damaged by an impact, probably not a good idea to try repairs. I would replace. Best place to start is get a copy of the service manual and see how Seadoo recommends removal. You can download PDF copies of the shop manuals from this site, or you can also find them elsewhere on the internet.

Stop leak is not a good idea. It may stop the leak. But it also try's to plug the passages as well.

The ride plate is removable without pulling the engine. If you don't have a manual you will want one. Requires some specific prying against the hull and what not. The manually tells you how and where.

a little heat on the black sealant areas and the ride plate will come right off. pretty simple really.

I think the manual says to take a metal plate and put it on the top of the transom area, then stick a bottle jack in between the ride plate and the metal plate and jack away.

I am sure a little heat would definately help this process go smoother.
