Restoration Question

I just traded in my 98 GTX Limited for a 2003 4Tec GTX Supercharged. The top cap was all faded and I was able to use a buffer to bring it back to life. Shine is back and I am very pleased with the outcome.

My question is - how can I get to the hull with the jetski on the trailer? I know I can crawl around and get to what I can get to - but I won't be able to get to all of it. I really don't have access to any type of lift. Is there anyway to jack the jetski up off the trailer? safely? Or do I get to what I can get to, and live with it. Hoping someone has had this issue before and can give me a few pointers on what I might be able to do. Thank!

You could probably lift the front up with hoist and keep it at angle.

Loosen any tie down straps, get a jack and place it on the trailer and jack it up to the hull on one if the outside edges. Use some boards to protect the finish as well as spread the reassure out a bit.

Jack it high enough to put some boards in the gap just in case the jack fails and the ski comes back down to the bunker boards.

This way you won't have to chew your arm off,,,
