does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the starter in a 1996 gsx? does the motor have to be pulled to do so? and where can i find a cheap starter? thanks for your time. jason

It is not easy to get to, but is simple to replace. Just the space constraints with the shape of our hulls. Other than that, just a couple of bolts and a support bolt/bracket holding them in.

I had bad luck recently (3 weeks ago) with an ebay starter. SBT is selling them reman'ed for $99. The one I put in Saturday seems to be working much better than the ebay starter.
