I bought a 2017 Sea-Doo GTR-X in California that has out of state tags from a repair shop.
California DMV wants a "hang tag" for emissions certification.
I called BRP and they said, "what is a hang tag?"

Anyone ever had this issue with CA DMV? How did you take care of it?

Good luck, CALI sucks for out of state registration.
You either are going to have to show them the sticker that says "Meets California Emissions Regulations". It has to be on the ski.

Move to the other state. You’ll be better off.
