Well I bought this boat a month or two ago and I've been slowly working away on it cosmetically, trying to determine the mechanical issue (thread under Merc section) and I've just got all the basic maintenance up to date. I've removed all of the decals (heat gun), and last weekend I spent the whole saturday wet sanding, and then moved on to buffing with a wool pad and 3M Rubbing Compound, then a lighter compound/wax 3M marine product with a foam pad. It took over a day to just do the top side.
