Rear electrical box

I took the lid off the rear electrical box, back next to the battery, on my 1997 GTX. I can get the lid to go down tight enough for it to snap back into place. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the rubber gasket on the black electrical box is binding somewhere. Remove the gasket from the lid (the top with the wires going into it) and place the rubber gasket around the base of the electrical box and then try pressing the lid down onto the base. Hope this helps.

Yep, the gasket can twist. Make sure it's on flat. You can put a little silicon grease on it to help slide it together, and seal the box.

Taking the seal off the lid and pushing it down over the box with a little grease worked perfect. Thank you.
