I am resleeving my top end because they are bored out way too big and I already bought the stock 82mm pistons for the 787. I've never used a machine shop for work before but I was going to drop everything off for napa to do. What all do they need to know? Just tell them to bore to 82mm and hone? The new sleeves say they need to be bored and honed even though they are for a stock 787

Take the pistons to them and take the technical data from your manual so they have the piston to cylinder wall clearance specs. Also make sure they chamfer the ports, I do believe you are right that the finished bore will be 80 mm
