R&D Aquavein Intake Grate Question
I'm new to Sea-Doo performance upgrades, so forgive my ignorance.
I have a 2003 Sea-Doo GTX Supercharged 4-TEC with a broken grate (do not ask how because I honestly do not know). I'm debating on spending twice the money to get an R&D Aquavein grate for it as opposed to the OEM grate. What benefits will I see from installing the R&D as opposed to the OEM?
I'm thinking the R&D may help with handling and acceleration, but hurt top speed due to the extra scoop in the middle. I would think (in theory) that the two-railed OEM grate would allow for less restriction in water flow.
Help?
