Question on GTX vs LRV Mikuni carbs

These should both run super bn 46 carbs, both 2000 seadoo gtx vs lrv, my question is then why are they listing different part numbers between the two ski's? Is it just the size of the jets?

Reason is the carbs are not worth my time that came off of the lrv, I am for now installing another 951 engine in the lrv however I need to replace the carbs I figured the bn46 951 carbs where the same between these two but I guess there must be some component not the same, my guess is the jets in the lrv carbs are different then in the gtx?

according to my resources they are EXACTLY the same...even the jetting and screw adjustments.

Mine too except for complete carb part numbers, My research is showing the lrv carbs both are different part numbers from the gtx I have........ I just figured different jets due to the size of the ski and about 300 lbs heavier.....

However my plan is if I merely install a 951 for now to get by until the big engine, I am going to run an r&d flame arrestor just like my gtx and will most likely have to possibly rejet due to that anyways.....

they are both 46-42 and everything seems the same except for the lrv carbs vs gtx carbs are different part numbers.

I don't get it, they should be the same to me, however part numbers are different for them...... Jetting?

if these new secret part numbers give the 951 more HP, i'd buy 'em lol.
