I have a buddy who told me the easiest way to winterize a PWC is to get a kit like on the blow link and use RV anti-freeze to flush out the motor. He stated to run it just like flushing the motor, but the anti-freeze residue left in the motor will prevent the water in the motor from freezing. Is this possible and OK? Will this circulate enough anti-freeze through the motor & exhaust?
I'm not worried about the anti-freeze getting in the ground, as I can use the shop at work and use floor dry on it, thus preventing anit-freeze from getting into any soil/water/etc.
Is this possible and OK? Would this circulate enough anti-freeze through the motor & exhaust to prevent freezing and causing damage? If this is OK to winterize the motor, is the regular anti-freeze (green stuff) better then the RV stuff?
Thanks.
