yes lou,its a place that builds engines and or sells the parts to do it yourself.
i found on ebay a crank for 269 buks, called the number ,talked to mike,at the end of my conversation with him,i was fairly comfy with his whole deal.
for 547 buks,i can get a crank, rings, brgs, pistons, gaskets, cylinders bored n hone n chamfered, basically every thing i need to put the 717 engine together.please check it out and let me know what you think
thanks,troy

I honestly don't know anything about the company, but it all looks good, their warranty is two years no fault which compares with SBT premium engine for about $200 less. On the downside it looks like they rebuild your engine, which could be a problem with turn around during peak times of the year. SBT just pulls one off the shelf.

My only experience is with SBT which was all good, but this certainly is worth looking into. I'm sure somebody on this forum has experience with this company.

im not having him rebuild it.
im sending him my crank(core)
im sending him my cylinders to bore n hone n chamfer
he's giving me back a rebuilt crank
pistons rings n brgs( i didnt ask if they r caged or loose roller)
gasket set
and my cylinders,at whatever bore they get clean at

the price seems 'about right ... but i'm not familiar with this vendor.
note: for a couple hundred more you can just get a fully rebuilt engine, with warranty, and a LOT less labor on your part.... pull old engine, drop new engine in.
i'd consider that route as well, 717's are fairly in-expensive complete.

well,i sent my core parts off to new york today,no payment needed till ready to ship home.mike said it will ship on the 18th.
kinda nervous in that i googled the address, and its a tree,,in the middle of a field, great, atleast i didnt prepay.so in a couple weeks ill let u know how it all goes.wish me luck.
