Putting in a bigger motor

I have a 1988 i belive 580 spi with the yellow motor, that is shot, and i wanted to put in a bigger motor. Any clues on the biggest size i can go on a direct mount up, or without too many mods? thanks

a 720 will bolt in, but you will have to use the electronics from the yellow engine to make it run... or you will need ALL of the 720 electronics.

does it matter the year of motor or from which machine or, does the exhaust and carbs need to be changed as well or can i use the same exhaust and carbs?

If you want to put the carb(s) from the yellow engine on the 720... then you will need to rejet it. (them) You life would be made more simple if you just use 720 carbs.
