This off season, I'm open to doing pump and carb rebuilds. I'm almost finished with my second pump. It's from a 2000 GTX DI. Sorry, I can't do any work on the 4-TEC's'. I've yet to buy any specialized equipment for the 4-TEC engines.
Usually, at this time of year, I'm swamped with winterizing but, as a mechanic who usually has the members watch, they usually end up doing is them selves the next go round. Anyone who thinks it's time for a bearing replacement kit to their pumps, or time for a carb clean and overhaul, give me a holler via PM. I'll be happy to try and help you save some big bucks from the service centers.
I don't have any fees. I leave that up to the individual owner. As a moderator, I don't feel it is morally right to benefit from something I normally give freely, here to anyone.
Beside, everyone I have every done a job for has been very gracious and left me a nice gratuity. I'm open and transparent. You are free to watch the work via webcam.
