pump rebuild questions? 96 gtx 800

I am rebuilding a pump from a 96 gtx 800 for a buddy
the thrust washer and the bearing that rides on it were gone
it’s the brass vein pump and the metal surface on either side of the oil holes that the thrust washer sits on is chewed up some
will this be ok if I rebuild it with a rebuild kit?

it's fine as long as the new parts press in properly.
