the main thing is to keep an eye out for others and your surroundings from all around, Know how to read/approach wakes from other boats, obey the rules of the water, know your limitations and respect for the machine and you will be fine. have fun:)

Hahaha yeah will probably continue on the learning key for awhile longer before I switch to the normal key!! Definitely makes me a little more nervous....but not enough to keep me off them lol! Taking them out again tonite

yip, no worries tho.

I'll stress one more time that time on the water and each new experience will help educate and prepare you for potential incidences.

You can't learn much about your ski driving slow in a straight line, except to slowly increase your comfort level, the more opportunities you take to practice and learn maneuvers around obstacles, when and how quickly to turn, pulling up to other ski's, docking, etc, are all going to help protect you from harm when it presents itself. Make sure you and your other PWC learn some basic hand signals, (slow, stop, turn around, 5-0, etc) and have some fun out there.

Subbing this. I'm buying my first ski this week. And it's a beast for a newbie. 03 GTX s/c 3 seat. I'm respectfully excited for my first ride on it.
