I was wondering if I should continue to use my oil injection system or if I should just disconnect it and premix the oil and gas in the fuel tank. The only reason I'm asking is because I think the engine is getting too much oil.

say boats' been sit'n for a week, then you take to water. Is it hard to start or foul'n plugs? Reason ask, with that much smoke, problem may lay in the inner seals of crank or RV seal....

well, I happen to like my oil injection system.. kinda no worries..Keep my oil tank full, and gas tank full= weekend of great fun...
Speaking of thanks for reminding me, I need to get some more lube!

Any recommendations or just stick with the seadoo lube from the shop?

The oil injector delivers oil at a variable rate if you pre-mix it delivers oil at the same rate all the time. It leads to fouled plugs and more expense of oil because it will use lots more. The correct ratio is 40:1 I only use seadoo oil in my seadoo but other use different oil search oil in the search for tons of responses on oil.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep the system. It just seems like the boat uses a lot of oil. The only thing I can compare to is a yamaha wave runner III I had a few years ago, and it barely used oil at all. Maybe this enigine is designed to use more.
