Hey guys. Here's my plugs out of a spx 720 after a 30sec plug chop. What do you think

Been having a hesitation in mid throttle, but good on top and bottom/low speed. So I switched it to reserve and it cleared up. So I hope.

I like the color change on the ground electrode, the insulator color looks decent to me so far. Cardboard is the color of my 10yr old plugs after a few minutes of high speed. Pistons should show some clean aluminum port shadows, carbon on perimeter of piston crown is a sign of overheating. Fuel washes piston crown and provides cooling.

I like to see my plugs a little more on the tan side (slightly richer) I'd rather burn a little more fuel and cooler cylinder temps then squeeze every last ounce of power out of the ski, and pop a piston.
goatcheese do you still have grey fuel lines?

No, grey line were swapped in the spring. Fuel system has been serviced/cleaned and carbs rebuilt. Originally I was having problems with hot starting, so I ripped into carbs thinking that was the culprit. Changed back to old springs and diaphragm. But after changing, had a mid range hesitation.

So took carbs bak off and swapped back to the new parts. Seems to be ok. Still a little hesitant, but as soon as I switched it to reserve it cleared up.

As for the hard starting when it's hot, the RV clearance is a little loose-0.017 & 0.018. Going to run it for the rest if the season, and rebuild it over the winter.

I can't seem to get more fuel into the motor to richer things up. Adjusted high speed needle out to 1/2 turn and did a plug chop- same color. HS is at 1/8 out in that plug pic. Any suggestions? .
