Pair of like new Jensens cheap

I know there is a classified section for this but thought it would only be of interest to us jet boaters.

Just replaced the factory Jensen speakers in my 2008 Challenger 180. These are hardly used and instead of trashing them I though someone might want them. $35 shipped to your home(in USA) Canada hosers pay actual shipping :rofl:

what did you replace them with? I bought a set of polk db651s for my Speedster 200 but the holes in the fiberglass are way too big. I've been searching online and it looks like my only option is the MTX 7.7 speakers. They look okay.

I installed the polk DB651 speakers. I agree the cut-out hole in the boat was slightly too big but still work. The speakers come with a plastic ring backing plate. as long as you have an access to the area behind the speaker this will work for you. I simply drilled holes to match the speaker holes and pushed screws through the speaker/grill assembly, through the fiberglass and crewed into this plastic backing ring. Perfect!

glad they worked for you. on my boat you could almost force the db651 through the hole if you wanted so it would be impossible to mount them. I am not sure why they made the hole so big? maybe mine was done on a monday. do you still have the stock jensen deck? I ordered a Clarion but still haven't rec'd it. Love my boat but for what I paid there should be a better stereo for sure.

Anyone have good suggestion for a head unit? Maybe something with a jack in front for my blackberry music? Nothing outrageous, these will be the only speakers, and no amp. Small boat, not much room for much else.

Just to listen to music while we are on the beach.
