Just wondering what this part is called and its purpose. I see a spring in there and some plastic pieces melted and the O ring just fell apart

And also I thought I had the tool to remove the impellor but cant find it but I ordered one with the kit and will be here tamaro , but Dr. Honda said I didnt need any special tools and wonder how i can get it apart now. I have every normal tool they will work to get it apart

Thats the pump cone. That holds the oil. Im guessing no oil came out and everything inside is seized up. You can probably find someone on here who has some laying around. You also need a new o ring. Te impeller removal tool makes it much easier to remove the impeller.

No not a drop of oil LOL lots of stuff fell out , does a new cone come with the guts in it or do i need to order the guts also and O ring separate?

The spring and the melted thing was the pusher for the pump shaft. You can order them... or just leave them out. Seedoo added them to keep the pump from knocking at idle. (it's not needed, just makes it a little quieter)

Thank you for all the information. I think i will get this thing back in the water shortly, from everyones help. I keep trying to read everything i can on them, so i wont be such a pest :)

Its not being a pest. That what this place is about. Cool people helping each other. Its good that you are here learning and not paying some crazy repair shop. Now you can figure it out and help someone else down the road.

Yes I have helped many people on the Polaris RZR Forum but they had to help me first and then I learned alot about then and have had it apart to the frame , but I will learn as much as I can. I just want to try and learn the proper maintainence to avoid these kinds of problems as much as possible
