Just looking for opinions really,
I'm thinking of swaping engines out of my 08 seadoo 155 se its 1500 cc but I would like something a little bigger/ faster, I don't want super/turbo chargers. And I do t really want to trade/sale only because I own it and no extra monthly payments. In opinions what would be your suggestions please.
Cheers.

swapping engines is a really expensive way to add power/speed. you will be much better off selling your gti and getting an rxtx. while an engine swap is possible, the entire engine and all electronics, wiring harness, drive shaft, etc. will have to get changed. even if you did all the work yourself, you'll be money ahead just selling and buying another one, even in AU.

well...lessee...

Your se already has a 1500cc motor and you don't want an sc'd version. Seadoo don't make a bigger block.

I have seen a v6 stuffed into a seadoo hull.
.....wanna see it?

took me a lil bit to find it...

The last was with a 460+hp merc drag motor... around 97.4mph. He then went to put that motor into a GPR hull.

He'd ended up with somethin like an 18/30 pitched prop...and still had room to go. Even after doing some extra hull mods...strakes...ect. He'd reached his comfort limit....on that ski.

Imagination, know how, a lil bit of cash.....and an understanding wife....all you need.

I agree with the sentiments here. I'd just get a new ski and forget the engine replacement. If you're not looking into a supercharger model, you won't be adding more than an extra 30 HP.
