OMG The expense I think

Have a 2001 GTX DI running perfectly fine last September tried to use it now and was miss firing wouldn't rev above 4800rpm and kept cutting out. Asked the dealer to plug it in and give me verdict. Told I need new fuel pump and filters and new injectors at a cost of 1,700 euros. Any simpler suggestions that may be wrong.

Sounds more like a rectifier issue
