on my 94 gtx the oil pump is leaking bad tank drained overnight my ? is would you just mix oil in gas or repair the pump and if you do either ie mix oil in gas do you have to remove the pump or just the lines, and is the pump tough to rebuild and get correct. any suggestions would be appreciated.

the pump leaked??? into the bottom of the hull, or into the engine?

The pump is normally very reliable. I would think about replacing it, or buying a rebuild kit.

it leaked into the hull. This is the second oiling problem i have had with this ski also had a line break going to back cylinder so i had to rebuild top end now went to put it back in water yesterday and pump was leaking i guess pump was leaking have not took anything off to see but oil was running out back of ski. felt around pump and it was wet .

Ok, so the pump is wet with oil. are you sure it's the pump that is leaking, and not just one of the hoses?

Regardless... if you are having pump issues, and you would feel safer to remove it... then go for it. Remove the pump (including the drive gear), cap off the hoses, and cover the hole where the pump was. You will need to leave the tank in the hull to lube the rotary valve gears.

I am new working on these does this tank have a 2nd line that goes to these gears, I am planning on looking at the ski this afternoon after work I put it bak in the shop last night. thanks for your reply just wanted someone elses opinions and info before i started.
