Oil cooler hoses

Has anyone replaced their oil cooler hoses on an older (circa 2004) 155 HP 4-Tec? Is it possible to remove and replace them without removing the engine? Do normal worm style hose clamps work or are the factory style crimped clamps required?

You don't need to pull the motor, just remove(or just pivot out of the way) the intake manifold. Oetiker clamps are much better, imo, than worm clamps but either will work. The oetiker clamps can be reused if you open them carefully at the crimp point.
