OEM vs. Aftermarket Mikuni Needle Valve

Hi all,

I'm having trouble locating two genuine Mikuni needle valves for my carb rebuild on my 98 GSX Ltd. I know genuine Mikuni parts are absolutely the best for carb rebuilds, but are there any aftermarket ones that perform decently? Like I said, having a real hard time finding OEM. I also noticed that most aftermarket needles have a rubber tip, but the OEM seems to be a metal tip? Is that correct/does it change much about the carb settings and pop-off?

OSDparts.com is the place to go!

I buy 98% of my Sea Doo parts from them. They are very helpful and even have the special Sea Doo rental tools available for the big engine jobs, if you need them.

The needle has a rubber coating called Viton. It helps to seal the valve against fuel leaks for more reliability.
