Octane in 2003 DI

New owner here. Lucky me, just bought 2003 DI and 20 min into 2nd ride started running rough then would not run. No maintenance messages. Oil good. I had filled up the day before with 91 octane. Changed plugs. Compression test on both cylinders 135. Would it matter that I filled up with 91 octane rather than 87? Fuel pump primes when lanyard put in as well.

After reviewing all the posts looks like I might need a fuel pump

Higher octane won’t cause any issues.

Check the fuel pressure. 107psi
If the pump comes on when installing the lanyard chances are good it is working but might be restricted.
Might Just be the fuel filters clogged or it could be the compressor is not putting out enough pressure.
Have you changed the spark plugs?

Thanks for the advice. Replaced fuel filter, and fuel pump and it purred like a kitten!!!
