Had a question. I've already done but haven't water tested it. I replaced the pump oil last weekend. Pulled the cone off and not one drop of oil came out, only river water. bearings had some oil but naturally was milky. I cleaned it all up but the o-ring was blown for the cone. I went the automotive route and replaced it with the "right stuff" gasket sealer. Has anyone done this? I use it for everything on the car and it holds up far better than OEM seals. I'm supposed to water test it tomorrow. Any thoughts or comments?
