Hi, i have been troublshooting a start issue with my seadoo. i have checked everything i have read in the shop manual and on the wiring diaghram. solenoid will not energize when start switch is pressed. if i am correct at what i am looking at the solenoid wires one being bw/yl and the other is purple. bw/yl connects to B-39 ON THE EMC UNIT B CONNECTION AND THE PURPLE GOES TO THE MPEM 1-19. START BUTTON CHECKS GOOD AND THE DESS BEEPS ONE SHORT AND ONE LONG BUT THEN IT JUST BEEPS LIKE ITS READY TO GO BUT NOTHING HAPPENS.

If this unit has not had any other previous problems or any recent work done, you might try swapping out another "known good" battery before going too far.

Battery voltage & amperage seem to be critical.

This applies to any start/ run/ codes problem.

It should cost you nothing to borrow a good battrey from a good running ski.

Sounds like a dead battery. When mine died I got a short and long beep when I plugged the lanyard in. If you have a good battery you should get 2 short beeps.
