ok here is where im at i put the key in i get my 2 beeps motor turn over but no spark to plugs checked all crounds and cleaned and greased i have power to the mpem but i light tested the white wires to my coils and no power from the mpem to the coils is there anything else i can check befor i buy a new mpem also checked all amp plugs and cleaned.thanks for any help

why would that keep me from getting power to the coils from the mpem
so your saying that the stator tells the mpem to send power to my coils thank for your help

I am no mechanic but....
The way I understand it is this way, When the fly wheel magnets pass over the stator pick ups (or whatever they are called) it generates voltage and sends that voltage to the CDI (Capacitor Discharg Ignition) The cdi holds that voltage and then discharges it to the coil which is kind of like a transformer and multiplies that voltage (pulse) from the cdi by the hundreds to give the coil enough voltage to jump the gap of the plug for spark. That might not be a perfect explanation but it is the general idea. Hope that helps.
