No start1994 seadoo xp 657

Hey, I'm new to this pwc industry, i work on lots of cars and that's where all my knowledge sits. I just bought a 1996 gsx and a 1994 xp (657) off market place with a dual trailer. I got the gsx started all it needed was a dess post and now it fires up right away and sounds good. On the other hand my 1994 xp doesn't want to start now. I got it started up after choking, and continuously trying to just start it. It fired up and sounds really good, but a day later now it doesn't want to fire up. It sounds like it wants to and its almost there its just not starting. The old owner recently replaced the stator, mpem and ignition coils. I noticed when i take the spark plugs out and try to fire her up there is no spark... I got new coils, still no spark, i checked my mpem box but its honestly just a mess... wires everywhere, stuffs unplugged, its just all confusing. i bought premium to maybe checkout the manual but it all seems so confusing to me. Is there anyway someone can help me out? what do we think is happening...

Well if a bunch of stuff is unplugged and you have no spark that’s the place to start.
Wiring diagram would help. Also aftermarket electrical on these are often times garbage.

everything wired up exactly to the diagram, im still getting no start. I noticed that when i spray brake cleaner in the carb it starts up right away but if im not hitting throttle it just shuts right off

It’s not getting fuel, when was the last time it ran properly? If it’s been awhile probably need to rebuild the carburetor

Hey, so little update, i rebuilt the carbs, cleaned the carbs used a oem carb rebuild kit and still no start. i put gas directly in carbs, i put starter fluid directly in carbs and only starts up and runs for like 5 seconds or so.

It’s fuel related then

did you have good flow through the pilot jet passages into the carb throat?

Also check compression first before going any further with anything else
