No alarm at startup

Help.. what am I missing.
I puchased a speedster sk last spring. It ran great all season... i stored it for the winter.. and I went to start it, it starts OK, but I have not audio alarm at startup.. I swear that there was a long double "beep" to show that the alarm is working everytime you start the boat. I was thinking the battery was low, so I switched it - still nothing.
Looked at wiring behind the console - cannot see any damage.
Am I missing something??

The beepers die. You can get a replacement at radio shack for about $9.

I checked for line voltage at connecter going to beeper - no light while turning on ignition. Would the beeper operate at 12 volt??

I checked the beeper - works. Is there a relay that shuts off the alarm (when low fuel light comes on, you can cancel it with the momentary switch)
Can I find a wiring diagram on line??
Any help would be appriciated.
