Hey all, just bought a couple '97 GTI's hoping to get something cheap and "easy" to fix to start out. Never owned a PWC before, only a couple boats. Wanted to start in the shallow end of the pool and see how this goes before moving into more hardcore machines. Looks like I'll get to try fixing stuff earlier than I though with water spraying out of the tuned pipe connection to the exhaust manifold and just finding a bolt busted off holding the pipe to the manifold below that - fun stuff.
Lots of super info in here that's going to help me navigate getting that unit back in the water and not filling up with it :facepalm:. Luckily that one was pretty much free after I noticed the mega leak.
