Hey guys/gals,
New to the forum and wanted to formally introduce myself. And see if you guys can give me some insight with my problems. I took out my brand new gtx 155 today and it started up fine but when I went to accelerate I heard a 'bang' and lost practically all propulsion. Anyways I tried to accelerate and all I can hear was if something was being knocked around inside. Any idea what this could be? This is only the third time I take it out. Also my maintenance required light is on since day one but i was told not to worry bc it has to do with some key recall.... Can these event be possibly related?

Ok so after some reading around I get a flash light and check to see what lodged in there. It a tie strap!!! Def not mine. It looks like it went all around the shaft (is this the correct term?) I am really scared this seriously damaged the craft. I didn't get to ride it at all so maybe the damage was kept to a minimal. But those metal hooks must have done something! I am not mechanically inlined. How much you guys think this could ring up in damages at a shop?

thanks for your reply.
I called up a friend of mine who also rides and something similar happen to him. We were able to take off the bottom grill and cut the strap loose. We only found one metal hook and part of the strap was tangled up in the impeller which we were able to take out. Fired her up and she sounded fine. Guess i won't know for sure though till i get her in the water. Have my fingers crossed that no damage was done. The one metal hook never made it to the impellor.
