new to site and need help please

good day everyone..i'm new here and was referred by a fellow seadoo owner.

i own (2) 1998 seadoo gsx limiteds with the 951 engine.

one runs perfect the other is giving me a fit. it keeps blowing the 15 amp batt fuse. i can take the computer and key from my good ski..same thing fuse blows.

i can take computer and key from bad ski( that blows fuses ) place them in the good ski and it runs perfect....so i am assuming that both computers are fine.

where should i start looking for this short/issue??

I'm betting your VTS is shorted out. Unplug it from the system, and see what happens.

i have unplugged all 3 harnesses at the rear left of the ski,both harness under the steering and it is still popping fuses. if you remove key,replace the key,replace the fuse,replace the key, and hit the start button the engine will spin maybe 8-10 seonds then it melts the fuse.

what am i missing ...can it be in the start/stop switch?
