we have the same ski. Mine looks exactly like your avatar pic. How many pee hole lines do YOU have and where do they start/end? thanks in advance!

I definitely have water coming out of both pee holes. I will have to take a look at it tonight for you if I get the time. I am heading to the lake for the weekend tomorrow morning, so I got a bit of work to do.

Which color engine and manifold do you have? If you could do that for me it would be greatly appreciated but if you can't I understand and wish you a good trip!

I have the white engine and white tuned pipe. I will be prepping the skis, so I will have at least the opportunity to look, I just gotta find the time to get online and tell you what I see :)

I too have the gray 97.5 GSX and it only pees out of one hole. Should it be using both? If so, I need to check my hoses against those diagrams.

So, I got to check out my hoses tonight. The one hose connects to the tuned pipe, just above the carbs and air intake. The other hose runs to a 'T' fitting and connects to the engine at the bottom of the cylinders (one to each cylinder after the 'T' on the starboard side).

As I said, I definitely have water coming out both holes. This is a 97.5 GSX Limited, white motor.

hmm.. this is so odd. Do you think I should leave mine the way it is routed, or reroute to use both holes?

UPDATE:

I installed the external rectifier from Only SeaDoo and reinstalled the carbs. No spark AT ALL. checked fuses and a couple of other things, still no spark. Disconnected the external rectifier kit and plugged the stock connector back into the mag housing and it fired up like a champ. less than a half a second of turning over and it was running strong. Still haven't had a chance to hook it up to the hose and run it for a few minutes but i plan to do that this evening. But WHY would I have no spark when the external rectifier is plugged in? any ideas?

UPDATE:

Got the rectifier issue solved. Seemed to be a bad ground. Fired the ski up and tested the voltage at the battery to be 12.5 . Isn't that a little low? shouldn't it be more like 13.5? If so, what do i check next? stator? and I'm having a bogging issue. The ski fires right up and idles good. but if you give it any throttle at all it bogs down. I can work with it and get it to rev up slightly to around 4000 rpm but when i let off the throttle it hangs there and slowly comes back down to idle. then just dies out. what kind of issue does this sound like? I'm determined to not let this thing whoop me.

12.5 volts should be the resting charge of the battery. I checked mine runnig on the trailer and it was almost 14v. You should be able to ohm test the stator/magneto to see if that is your problem. The bogging sounds like a lack of fuel flow. I think this b/c of how you said it hangs. When you let off the throttle and it stays revved up, it's running lean. Maybe a fuel line, selector, or carb issue.

I can't see which hoses are connected to my pee holes for the e-box and vts. Are you guys using a mirror or something?
