so i took a second look at this seadoo and it was a seadoo from FL and he says hes got the registration and its legit, for the SC washers and head, is this complex and are parts expensive for me to fix?

If it has the old supercharger washers and old valves you definately want to change them out. Changing these items requires some special tools and a I would say the degree of difficulty is hard to advanced (for the valves anyways). If you need to borrow some tools let me know, or I can help you out by doing some of the work for you. I would also change the flywheel bolts aswell. The supercharger washers, cylinder head vavles and flywheel bolts can all be done with the engine still in the hull.

yea, that would be awesome! would really appreciate that! and i would learn a lot of the mechanics on 4 tecs which would help me.... how much would it cost on parts? but if its got 30hrs, i dont need to change that out now, or do i really need to do it right away?

i asked him about the 30 hours on it and he is the second owner and it actually from ohio it had 18 hours and then he put the rest on it, he said it sat around for a while then he rode it last summer.

If its seen salt water, I would do the valves ASAP. I have 2 freshwater 04'/05' heads here and the valves don't look near as bad as the saltwater 4tecs heads that I have done of the same years. I ordered a set of torx racing valves (intake/exhaust) and they are pretty nice parts I would recommend them. I got them to my door for around $400, off the ebay. You can pop the intake hose off the blower and put a long 17mm socket on the impeller nut the with your torque wrench set to about 50in/lbs, if the washers are fresh they should slip around 60/65in.lbs. If I remember correctly, although .. you likely have the ceramic washers! My advice ... get them outta there before spring comes. Otherwise spring will come you will ride it ... and beat on it (comepletely forgetting about washers). Come july your motor will experience major damage because one of the washers dropped. My $0.02

ok so appart from rebuilding the SC i should also change the valves and pwcmuscle doesnt have any rebuild kits left so this is on ebay http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Sea-Doo-Supercharger-Rebuild-Kit-Tool-Kit-215-255HP-/140470420313 is it legit? and i personally dont think id be able to do the work myself for this seadoo, ive never really worked on seadoo's before...

and oh yea, he just told me the SC is all stock! nothing changed since he got it except battery!

Her ski was a GTX and I unloaded it over the winter lol. She was cool with it though we got a commander and she's all about that. She basically gave up on having her own ski (well unitl she buys her own) but the deal is I cannot sell the boat.
